Welcome to Qweqwetsin Family & Healing Lodge Society

Qweqwetsin Family & Healing Lodge Society (Q Healing) is an Indigenous-led non-profit with a provincial mandate. “Qweqwetsin” means “to pray together” in Secwepemc language, and prayer is at the heart of all we do.

Our mission is to relieve poverty through healing and provide support to Indigenous families in need through culturally grounded programs that keep families together, strengthen youth, and restore balance.

We deliver ceremony, land-based education, outdoor skills, and counselling that help families and youth reconnect with culture, identity, and land. We already host healing ceremony and events in Secwepemc Territory and Vancouver. Our programs launching in late 2025/2026 include sweat lodge ceremonies, healing circles, and transitional supports, alongside a new food forest and healing garden at Simpcw First Nation. Youth will learn survival skills, outdoor education, and traditional plant knowledge while developing leadership and resilience through mentorship with Elders and guides. With culturally safe counselling and family supports, we help whole families stabilize and heal together.

Looking ahead, we are working toward the creation of a permanent Mother's Centre Healing Lodge on Secwepemc territory. This capital campaign is ongoing and will allow us to expand our impact with a dedicated cultural and residential centre. While this vision continues to unfold, our current focus is on strengthening the ceremonies, land-based education, and youth leadership programs that are already transforming lives in our communities.
